alstonfareed.com
Main public hub for Fareed Alston’s work, credibility, and brand ecosystem.
I’m Fareed Alston — a video journalist, cinematographer, and creative builder based in St. Louis, Missouri. I founded CITY™ Productions & Publishing LLC in 2017 after years of producing with family, friends, and community partners, earned a B.A. in Cinema & Photography from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2014, and later freelanced across Chicago, including production assistant work on CNBC’s The Deed: Chicago. Today I lead wedding and documentary productions, mentor youth, organize community programming, and continue building a connected media ecosystem across the Midwest through production, publishing, films, photography, and CITY AI. Outside of client and civic work, I keep a hobbies lane that includes music production, community finance, Maggie’s Harvest (garden, wellness, and small-batch product experiments), and Fareed Reads (film, culture, and reading notes).
alstonfareed.com is the main public hub. From there, the business flows through CITY™ as the core creative brand, with each lane branching into a clearer public destination for production, publishing, photography, films, non-profit work, and CITY AI.
